Richard A. Heller, P.A. Sponsored Charity Walk in Support of Local Seniors

Our law firm, Richard A. Heller, P.A., had the privilege in recent months to be a part of a worthy cause that benefitted seniors in the local area. Our firm served as a sponsor for the Jewish Pavilion’s Fall Festival & Walk, a fundraiser that was held at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs on October 27, 2013. At this event, which was held in memory of Nancye Kobrin and Lynn Steinmetz, people from the local community came together to walk in remembrance of those who walked before them. The Fall Festival & Walk offered attendees free food, children’s activities and entertainment.

Support for the Jewish Pavilion is very important, as this organization provides important services for our Jewish seniors. The organization’s staff and volunteers work to provide companionship and special activities for elderly Jewish people who live in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes. Some of these are events that are put on by the Jewish Pavilion include inter-generational activities, holiday celebrations and Shabbat dinners. The organization also now has a trained social worker who provides assistance for seniors and their families when they are having issues related to elder care. The goal of the Jewish Pavilion is to help the elderly Jewish population avoid becoming isolated and disconnected from others in their religious community. Our Orlando divorce lawyers are proud to have had the opportunity to support an organization that does so much good in our local area.
